Product Description

Dynamic Rope is made by braiding synthetic fibers into a rope with good elasticity. The stretching percentage is usually up to 40% when placed under load. In contrast, the static rope is usually can be stretched less than 5%. Due to its good elasticity feature, it can absorb the energy of a sudden load, such as arresting a climber's fall, by reducing the peak force on the rope and thus the probability of the rope's catastrophic failure.
